OPPORTUNITIES IN MEDIA

HERE'S WHAT HAPPENED IN 2011

The Australian Film, Television and Radio School (AFTRS) is pleased to announce a special opportunity for students of Film and Television in Far North Queensland.

AFTRS will be offering a program during the week of 30th May - 3rd June that will provide a positive contribution to students in the FNQ region following last term's devastating impact from Cyclone Yasi.

Students will work collaboratively with both AFTRS trainers and other FNQ media students to produce a film that will be screened at CoCA in Abbot St. The program is a great opportunity for students to gain valuable training and knowledge from experts in the industry, to work alongside other talented FTV students in the region and to add this experience to their portfolio to support future applications in the film industry.

REACH encourages students to get the necessary school and parental permissions ASAP to allow them to have their nomination accepted for the days and streams they wish to attend.
